About me
I am a research associate in the department of Mathematics at Imperial College London working on the Stochastic Parameterization of Ocean Turbulence for Observational Networks (SPOT-ON) project. My main research topics are (stochastic) geometric mechanics, numerical methods for PDEs/SPDEs and the modelling and simulations of geophysical fluid flows. Additionally, I am also interested in structural preserving discretisation of dynamical systems and data assimilation. My current work involves the derivation and analysis of new stochastic and deterministic geophysical fluid models through the scope of geometric mechanics, as well as the numerical simulations of these models. The most recent works are on the geometric modelling and simulations of wave-current interactions.
